J.K. Rowling spoke to Radio Times recently about her participation on the upcoming episode of BBC's Who Do You Think You Are?, set to premiere on Wednesday, August 17th, as well as the truths she learned about her late mother's French ancestry involving several single mothers and a relative who in reality had not won the legion of honour (Légion d'honneur). Scans from the issue, as well as a preview from the August issue of Who Do You Think You Are? magazine, which gave a preview of the Harry Potter author's episode, can be found, thanks to SSer Rosina Ferguson, in our galleries.

Ooohh i would luv to watch this show. Sadly i live in USA :-( i am very much into researching my ancestors and that story would be perfect for me to watch! I wonder if one of these days that show will appear online WITH english captioning. If u do find that, do pls let me know!! :-) :-) thx!

I wonder if any Swedish channel will show the British episodes. I've only seen the American ones and the Swedish ones. But I bet we'll be able to find JKR's episode on line somehow anyway.
