J.K. Rowling, well known author of the Potter series, has made it onto Forbes U.K. Billionaires list. Rowling is the only woman and author listed with an estimated worth of $1 billion dollars. Quote:

Go Jo! Can't believe she's only author and woman. Someone should do a worldwide list; wonder where she'd fall among other famous authors like Stephen King or Anne Rice or Michael Crichton.

I think the fact that she's the only woman kind of reflects society, men get payed more than women in almost all fields of work, and it's not fair. So good for Jo for defying the system, and she definitely deserves it! | |
