As we know, J.K. Rowling is very active in giving to charities devoted to supporting the welfare of children. It was mentioned in the Tatler Magazine interview we covered that she may be visiting Romania. Today's Bucharest Daily News is reporting: Quote:
The author of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling may take part in a charity dinner on January 25 organized by Baroness Emma Nicholson in Bucharest, with the purpose of raising money for children in European orphanages.

Unto the subject, this just helps show what an example Jk is to anyone in the rich and famous league, for she manages to stay kind and emphatic and generous, while still being brilliant in her writing. She's such a fantastic person.
Personally, I've heard the topic on the Romanian news, too, but nothing certain as of yet. I do hope she is able to come, it would mean much for the cause she is fighting for - one that is quite sensible in some East-European countries. *fingers crossed* | |
