| | | J.K.Rowling 'loves' the 'Goblet of Fire' film CBBC Newsround has some new quotes from David Heyman who informs us that J.K.Rowling loved the fourth film. The article also tells us a bit about the DVD - there will be a director's commentary & full performances from the 'Weird Sisters'. David also says they may make subsequent DVD's of the earlier films featuring director's commentaries. He also talks about some of the stuff going on in the pre-production for ' Order of the Phoenix'. Quote:
"We start filming in February. [Director] David Yates has already done a pass through of the entire film in storyboards. He brings a real sensitivity and humanity to the film.
"Luna is a key part. She's someone who's unconventional, a little eccentric, but utterly charming and irrestible.
"Grawp will be a fully digital character, giving him humanity is really important. There's some wonderful stuff with Grawp in the script. I'm really excited about that."
JK Rowling is also being a huge help to the production.
David explained: "In the fifth film we have the Black Family Tapestry. In the book there's a bit of information. But in the film we need to fill that out, and she'll provide us with that information."

The film's director has also revealed details of what to expect from the DVD. Mike Newell said: "Jarvis Cocker and Radiohead play songs which are short in the film, but are in full on the DVD."
David also revealed: "There will be some deleted scenes, how we did certain things, how the effects were done and behind the scenes interviews - probably greater access that we've ever had before." I cant wait for that. Only 10 days to go,10 days to go,10 days to go go go,10 days to go. -Helen

Oh. So Grawp will be there? I guess then we'll have Hagrid in parts of the film, though probably not a big part. I just hope that if they put that in they don't leave out Ron playing quidditch.
I wonder what will be going on with the Black family tapestry. Like, will we find out new stuff that isn't in the book? Or will it just explain it better? Hmm.
And I'm glad to hear JKR loves GoF. She loved PoA which was one of the best, so this makes me believe GoF will be even better!

i liked what they will do in OOTP. I hope they choose Luna similar to Luna in the novel. Grawp will be ok, I think that.

OotP will be great. With Luna and they even left Grump in. That's great. And great that JK loved the movie.

Grawp won't have much of a voice so he won't need a very famous or accomplished actor to voice him. It will probably be just one of the animators! he he, just kidding. |

What are they talking about the DVD, again? I bought the second HP on DVD because of the the deleted scenes, and there were NONE! There were only loads of trailers and other rubbish there (who can tell me, what is the use of a trailer, if you have the entire film? Oh, to fill in the place? Really?! How didn't I think of that?). So don't believe everything they say in a hurry...

For example, in a book you don't need to say all the names whereas in the film the Tapestry will need to be in its complete form which means they have to have every name & birthdates & marriages & children etc ... That may even give us clues. If we need any by 2007! Quote:

There were about 13 on the CoS DVD.
