J.K.Rowling is in consideration for Time magazine's Person of the Year title. Pros and cons for her case are put forward and there's a poll in which fans can vote. Quote:
Pro: Finished a seven-book epic that will be read by children (and lots of adults) for generations to come. Slowly creeping up on Agatha Christie as the most read author not named Shakespeare.
Con: Seventh book wasn’t her best, and hard to argue she was the most important person of 2007.
Jo is currently in 6th place, with Al Gore taking the lead.

Jo should totally win. It doesn't matter if this wasn't her best book. She was still able to pull millions of kids away from their precious TV sets and get them to love books.
