CBBC Newsround and The Children’s Society conducted a poll to find out who kids thought would make the best celebrity teacher. J.K.Rowling came in second place, with children thinking she'd be good at English. Quote:
In second place was Harry Potter creator JK Rowling, who was picked as an English teacher because of her creativity and ability to write good stories.
She was beaten to the top spot by David Tennant for his Time Lord role in Doctor Who. Other celebrities/characters featured included David Beckham, the Queen, Vicky Pollard, Princess Diana, Kylie Minogue, Billie Piper and Tracy Beaker. | |
