| | |  J.K. Rowling hosts multiple sclerosis Enchanted Garden Ball
On Friday J.K. Rowling, who is patron of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland, hosted the Enchanted Garden Ball at Harburn House, West Lothian, Scotland. £320,436 was raised at the event for the charity. Peter Kay DJed for the night and guests included; Ian Rankin, Charlotte Church, Joely Richardson and Evgeny Lebedev. An auction, which raised £126,000, was held during the festivities. Quote:
One popular item was the chance to be immortalised as a wizard or witch in a portrait at the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Florida.
Charity fundraising manager Glenda MacKenzie said the sum raised broke all previous records.
