| | |  J.K. Rowling gets Female Force comic book
J.K. Rowling will receive comic book treatment courtesy of Female Force, a biographical look at the author by Bluewater Productions. MTV have exclusively revealed the cover art, which can be seen in our galleries.

The comic promises to chronicle the "rags to riches story of a woman receiving government financial assistance through her ascendancy in becoming one of the world’s most recognizable writers."
The book, written by Adam Gragg with interior art by Matthew Filer and cover art by Joshua Labello, will be out in December (Amazon lists the release date as January 13th 2010), in two formats; a standard, 23-page comic and a 'double-sized collector’s edition'. Quote:
“J.K. Rowling created a renaissance in children’s and young adult literature. She inspires a legion of fans and it will be fascinating to follow how many future writers will point to her work as their original source of inspiration,” said Bluewater’s president Darren Davis.
