J.K.Rowling has updated her website to answer the question which won the FAQ Poll on her website: What happens to a secret when the secret-keeper dies? Quote:
When a Secret-Keeper dies, their secret dies with them, or, to put it another way, the status of their secret will remain as it was at the moment of their death. Everybody in whom they confided will continue to know the hidden information, but nobody else.
She also explains the technicalities of a secret-keeper in more detail. Her answer can be read in full here.

Yay, finally answers. EDIT 1: Of course that wasn't my question...  EDIT 2: Oh, yes, yay first to post w00t and all that. EDIT 3: This place would look nicer in color. EDIT 4: I still don't get it. So the secret then can't be spread by the people who know it? THey're sealed shut with it? EDIT 5: Who's got a secret? EDIT 6: Victoria's Secret...  EDIT 7: OMFG! I'm gonna be late to class. um...does that mean if there are new order memebers they cant enter sirius' house? and does that mean that if harry wanted to live there in later years he cant because his family if he has one cant see it cause he wasnt the secret keeper....i think i get it awesome i feel smart

while it is always nice to have answers, i think this just leaves us with more questions. What about that locket and other stuff that are in Sirius's house?! It would stink if Harry inherited it all but now can't get at it! Hmmm... and the secret info can't be passed on?! So theoretically even if Harry tried to announce to Voldemort where Grimauld place was he couldn't?! Hmm....this leaves me with way too many questions my brain is already on overload with schoolwork and now even more questions are there in my head swirling around like a black haze of death! Hope she puts up a new poll soon!

Wow, that's interesting ... but also confusing.
Does that mean that the Order can't set up their headquaters at Grimmauld Place, because Dumbledore was the Secret Keeper? And what other secrets did he keep? ... I'm even more confused now - I think.

The answer she gives in full says that anyone who was previously told by the secret keeper themselves will be able to remember the secret - but they could not pass it on.
So this concerns Harry and the Order in that Harry read the location of the Order on a piece of paper written by Dumbledore (who was the secret keeper). So Harry will always know where the headquarters is and so will anyone else who was told by Dumbledore - but no new people at all will be able to know that it is the headquarters to the Order. I don't think we'll be dealing with any new people in book 7 anyway so everyone who needs to know already knows and those who do not know will not be able to find out.
