The Sunday Times is reporting that Scotland airport officials are considering renaming Scotland’s main airports after famous Scots and are asking the public for suggestions. Quote:
Twenty million people travel through Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports every year, and supporters of the plan say renaming the terminals after famous Scots would raise the profile of Scotland’s cultural heritage around the world.

If so, I'm going to Scotland...although actually I wouldn't need a plane...hmmm....oh well - that'd be cool.
I guess Laureuhp may have a point - it may be a lilttle tacky - but I think it would be great, and would attract more visitors/attention to Scotland! *gets the bagpipes out*
