Post J.K.Rowling: A production

Holly Godwin with Young Audiences Theater group in Atlanta performed a show about the life of Jo Rowling at Southwestern Elementary School.

Quote:
Holly Godwin with Young Audiences Theater group in Atlanta came down to perform for the students about the life of Joanne Rowling, better known as J.K., author of the Harry Potter books. Godwin took the students on a trip to learn how Rowling, who was a single mother and a waitress, became one of the richest women in the world.

The theater group she works with have been performing different shows about different authors such as Laura Ingalls Wilder of Little House on The Prairie fame and Beatrice Potter.

As Godwin continued on her performance she enlisted the help of some students to play the parts of Harry Potter. Trey Atkins was chosen to receive the famous Potter glasses as well as the lighting bolt mark on his forehead.

Princess Sarah Forever & Always

That's pretty neat that they were able to put that on. I know that I've heard about so many schools saying they don't like Harry Potter for some silly reason. And it's also great that it was about J.K. Very awesome, I applaud those kids.
