| | | J.K.R reveals 8th Harry Potter book possible - Summary:
HARRY Potter author JK Rowling has revealed plans to write an eighth book. Article:
J.K Rowling said until now that she would write just seven Harry Potter each one for his seven years at Hogwarts, but she recently revealed she would probably wirte an eight book for charity using a few things she had to leave out in books
This is what the article had to say: Quote:
Rowling had always said she would write just seven Harry Potter books, one for every school year at Hogwarts.
But she has decided she may write another book for charity after she finishes the series using all the ideas she has had to leave out of books so far.
The book would be an encyclopaedia of the wizarding world, including plots and background about the characters she has had to leave out of the five books she has already written.
She said: 'I think it highly unlikely I'll write more novels.
'I've got enough story for seven books and I never meant to carry the story beyond the end of book seven. 'I might do an eighth book for charity, a kind of encyclopaedia for the world so I could use all the extra material that's not in the books ... we'll see.'
Rowling has already written two mini books for charity three years ago she released two Hogwarts textbooks.
The books, called Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and Quidditch Through The Ages, revealed details about the magical world to excited fans.
Rowling also revealed she has written parts of novels for adults.
But she admitted: 'None of it is published, which is no loss I assure you.' Please note she has stressed time and time again, there will be no more novels and that a possible book eight is not likely. However an epilogue/encyclopaedia is what she will consider writing. Whatever she writes, it will not be a continuation of the characters lives the year after their seventh year at Hogwarts. Since the beginning she has always said that there will be no more than seven Harry Potter novels. WizardNews |

I really think she would be crazy not, to more than 7. I mean If u think about Real Authors of book series, like Xanth, or dune ect.. ( no affense to JKR) They keep going. There is so many facsinating places and stories in and around Hogwarts that it be depressing not to explore this to the extent. She created a world to which we really only get a glimpse of, in the series. Mabye If she ends the Potter Series with book 7,or 8 fine. But It would be sad not to do more prehaps of a seperate series on the Past, present or future world of witchcraft and wizardry. Please think about JKR.

It would be great to have more books from JKR. I would read them all.
The 7th year from Harry Potter just couldnt be the end of all things. It´s no fairy with and they live happily ever after. YAYAYA*grin dumbly*

I think it would be great if she writes the 8th book. I have Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and the Quidditch book. Even if it is about some other information about other characters or other creatures, her readers would love it! I would be sad for the whole adventure to end....can't Harry fail a grade? Stay back a year?

Emmmm...Yea, that would be fantastic of her to write an eight book for charity. Sadly, no more HP-and-Friends-after-seventh-year, especially with all those characters younger than Harry, or so I think, but only to put in those ideas or facts about some characters (Like Dean Thomas for example, but I'm not saying anything about it.)she hasn't been able to include in the saga.
As you know, I just had an idea just a moment ago. Once she's done with the seventh and/or the eighth book. Using books 1-7/8 as a guide, as well as those mini books, we, the fans can always make up some fanfiction about their lives afterschool, right? Or maybe we can atleast write about...the wizarding-and-muggle-world a generation or two after Harry Potter's legend, but those worlds are once again threatened by darkness...I'm just saying that for some reason...but they're just some of the ideas of what we can do after the saga is done.

| YES!!!!!!!!! Eight Bookie! Wooootness! JayMay ♥ Big, yellow duckie <3 YAYNESS! Even though I was hoping for a book describing the trio's adventures afte schools, it would be fabulous all the same if she wrote a Potter encyclopedia. It would be highly informative, I'm sure. And, of course, anything related to Harry Potter is sure to be a perfect goblet of entertainment. I really hopes she writes it after she's finished with the 7th bookie. *Nods and smooches J.K*
