| | |  ITV buys broadcast rights for Order of the Phoenix
The Hollywood Reporter states that ITV, one of the main British television channels, has bought the rights to broadcoast Order of the Phoenix. The purchase is part of a 'wide-ranging' deal between the station and Warner Brothers. This means that ITV will have the terrestrial debut of the fifth film, in the UK, much like they did with Goblet of Fire last year. It is not yet known when the film will be shown, though it will more than likely be sometime next year. Quote:
ITV director of digital channels and acquisitions Zai Bennett said said, "This deal further cements ITV and Warner Bros. close working relationship."

Although I agree that the ad breaks are annoying.Keeps the tradition of HP on ITV alive,though. 
And despite the fact I have watched it several times on DVD I will be tuning in when they show it.
I suspect it may well be Christmas or new year time....

Well, ITV, simply put, cannot compete with Doctor Who. Period. So in the past they've used the HP films, because it's all they've got that'll pull in big figures. Their drama really leaves a lot to be desired.

^ I bet they'll do that, it's ITV's only hope of competing against Dr Who. They showed POA last year right? I wish they'd show one of the more happy films on Christmas Day though.
