In an interview with Mugglenet, Evanna Lynch's father stated that the Luna Lovegood actress is working long hours filming OOTP, but is enjoying the experience. He also mentioned that his daughter spoke with J.K. Rowling for nearly an hour earlier this week when the HP author visited the Leavesden Studios. In addition, he shared this ironic story: Quote:
... just over a year ago, Evanna and some of her friends sent WB a video demo tape of them acting, hoping to earn a role in the movies. Evanna didn't hear back from Warner Bros. until a day before the Luna open casting call was announced (although the letter was dated months before). They said that they couldn't offer her a part.
It just goes to show, you should never give up on your dreams.  | |

I love Evanna's dedication to getting a part and her overall love for the series. Like us fans, she is a big Potterhead and we love her for that. I am really getting excited to see her in action.
