| | |  Imelda Staunton talks Professor Umbridge
Imelda Staunton has stated several times that she will be playing Professor Umbridge in ' Order of the Phoenix'. This is still unconfirmed by WB; David Heyman stated they were in 'negotiations' a while ago. Once again she has spoken about the role, this time to TV Quick magazine. Quote:
Dolores is evil, ugly and toadlike. Hoorah! I'll be most shocked when they say, "We don't need any make-up, you're fine!" I'm a fan of the books. We've got them in our house, so now my kudos has gone up enormously. Life won't be worth living if I don't arrange for my daughter to visit the set!

I really never thought much about Umbridge but once you think about it takes alot to play someone with her character....
I think Imelda's up for a lot, but I'm looking forward to it.
She looks like Umbrdge but can she act like Umbridge? Up until now, I couldn't think anyone could be as horrid as her.

Ya know, I kinda pictured that as Umbridge, but she'll need a body suit lol. She's very pretty so of course she'll need makeup. I hope they pick her!

I wonder how well she'll fit into the role... I mean those are some LARGE shoes to fit into. Whether or not even if she gets picked, I dont expect anyone actually to like the character played in the movie. It is Umbridge...
