IMAX launches contest to celebrate Half-Blood Prince release
To celebrate the IMAX 3D release of Half-Blood Prince, which opens on the screens across the US tomorrow, the company has launched a contest for fans to win posters and t-shirts. To be in with a chance of winning go here, click on 'enter to win' and follow the sweepstakes link. Then fill in your details.
The contest is open to residents of the US and Canada that are age 18 or older. It closes on August 19th. Five winners will receive the posters and t-shirts. Winners will be picked on August 24th.
The IMAX sequence is actually 12 minutes and it says it on the entry page of the contest too. They were actually theatres that showed the film on IMAX on July 15. The theatre I went to is really huge and nice AMC Theatre. They have IMAX auditoriums. It's two floors, I believe, and so two IMAX auditoriums. And so, yes, I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in IMAX. I enjoyed the movie immensely so it was worth it albeit only 12 minutes of wearing those cool 3-D glasses.
