The winners were finally picked to hear JK Rowling read at the Edinburgh Book Festival Article:
Thanks to Wizardnews Quote: The winners of the ballot for tickets to see JK Rowling read from her works at this year's Edinburgh International Book Festival were picked from the sacks of entries yesterday.
Just over 500 tickets for the event at the festival, which is sponsored by The Herald and Sunday Herald, were sent out last night to Harry Potter fans who had entered the ballot to buy tickets.
The August 15 performance will be the author's first public reading for four years and her only book event this year. She will read from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Winners of the ballot – who could claim up to four tickets each – include fans from across Britain as well as four applicants in the US, and others in Canada, Holland and Ireland.

I haven't heard anything so I don't think I've won. Unless mum was contacted, as it was her details on the form, in which case she could be keeping it secret from me, but I highly doubt it. *sigh* If anyone from Wales had won, I'm sure they would have said, but well, Wales is counted in Britain normally sooo....*drops her stupid hopes*

I wish they would do this in USA... but alas... anyway Marcella, it says the tickets were mailed yesterday... maybe there is no contact other than receiving the tickets in the mail! Here's hoping you get a surprise delivery!
