| | |  HP composer nominated for Classical Brit
John Williams, who composed and conducted the scores for ' Philosopher's Stone', ' Chamber of Secrets' and ' Prisoner of Azkaban', has been nominated for a Classical Brit Award for his work on the third Potter film.
Williams has been nominted in the new category of ' Best Soundtrack Composer'. His competition includes Nigel Hess for ' Ladies in Lavender' and Jocelyn Pook for the ' Merchant of Venice'.
The Classical Brit Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 25th.

I've always loved John Williams. He also did ET and Jaws We played his music in band for a concert, which was nice because everyone knew the songs Hope he wins | |

John Williams is simply amazing. I think it was Spielberg that said, "If a director can tell a one-hanky story, John Williams' scores are guaranteed to make you use the whole Kleenex box."
So true. Especially for Schindler's List. That is some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard.

I love music, and John Williams has always been one of my favorite composers ever since he wrote the music for "Star Wars," "Jurassic Park," and, of course, for "Harry Potter."I'm so thrilled he's been nominated for an award. I hope he wins!!!

I hope he wins too! He's such a great composer! Love all the music from all of the HP movies so far! He definately deserves the award for his music. Where would the HP movies be without his wonderful compositions?
