| | |  Heyman comments on mysterious Half-Blood Prince castings
Two 11 year olds ( Taylor Triphook and Katie Head) were recently cast in Half-Blood Prince however their roles were unspecified. David Heyman commented on the casting to HPANA. Quote:
The actors -- Taylor Triphook and Katie Head -- will play two new, minor characters who are not culled from JK Rowling's sixth novel. Heyman did not elaborate further.

I find it slightly bothersome that they're adding characters that don't appear in the books... 
But I guess it's okay, as long as they have minor parts...

I know like Nigel? umm, whatever happened to colin creevy and his brother?? they shouldnt add random minor characters and then cut tons out that was put in the book..how annoying! but whatever..those two are very lucky people!!

It's no big deal - it's not like they're going to completely change the books and mysteriously reveal Harry's long lost twin for the sixth book or anything. I'm sure the characters are, as he said, "minor," and will in no way heavily impact the transferring of the events of the book from page to screen. I'm happy two more kids got the chance to have this kind of experience! Hope they enjoy it tons.  | |

If it just minor parts im cool about it as they could be just making the story with the orphans bigger as it not that big in the book but once they dont dramaticly change the story
