| | | HBP for under $30 in Australia
A large industry chain has for the first time in Potter history, announced its selling price for the sixth book in the series before the release date. Dymocks is taking pre-order sales for Harry Potter and the ' Half Blood Prince' for $29.95, well below the recommended retail price of $45.
Dymocks CEO Don Grover said, "There is a high demand for Harry Potter six and people will want to get their hands on it. We thought it was important if customers were going to pre-order the book they should know how much they were going to pay."

| $45 Australian dollars is around $34 US dollars, so it sounds like the price of the DELUXE edition. I only paid $17.99 for the regular book, not the deluxe, but IF that's the price of the deluxe in Australia, then it's cheaper than the US, which is around $42.00 USD... |

| People need to keep in mind the exchange rate, $30 isn't that bad. I am sure I paid that much for OotP. |

| I don't really trust Dymocks. I brought my school books from them, and they sent me year seven books, then they sent me year eight books, and I am still waiting for my year ten science book! I'm going to fail this year!
But as for the price, I brought mine from Target for about that, and there were no ques, whereas Dymocks and Angus and Coot)or something like that) had lines running throughout the shopping center. |

| Well, that`s good market move, I think. It`s really kind to clients, and they`re going to be the same way to this company, I suppose!
I wonder how much the book will cost in Ukraine...... |

| Nearly all of the HP books cost around that price, it depends on how prepared you are to shop around. I'm going to get mine from Target, who sold OOTP hardback for less than 20 dollars a month after it's release. |
