| | |  'HBP' Thief Faces Long Jail Term
Aaron Lambert, the thief who stole two copies of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince from a distribution centre where he worked on June 2, threatened Sun reporter John Askill with a gun during negotiations to sell the books, and who later attempted to blackmail UK publisher Bloomsbury, will face jail time. In October, Lambert plead guilty to stealing the books six weeks before they were to be distributed. Quote:
But in court on Tuesday he admitted all the charges, and two counts of trying to blackmail Potter publisher Bloomsbury. He previously admitted possessing an imitation firearm.

In court, Judge Richard Bray said: "He (Lambert) is going to prison for a very long time."
Sentencing will take place in January.

This was a crime of greed and he deserves a tough sentence. His sole purpose was to gain money from the selling the then unreleased book. Now, his attorney is going to claim steriods made him do it and pleaded for a lighter sentence.

man this is nothin i live in pakistan (the place where th major 7.6 earthquake hapened)
my sis came from the us and outside our gate 2 men came with loaded titis and toook my sis's visa tikets and her laptop and i2o ,ipod ,mp3 palmpilot she is in nyu(newyork univesity) MASHAHALLAH and even the suitcase and everyday things lyk these hapen in my country but the idiot GIT! guy deserved it ! i wish a life long punishment wudnt do it either !
