| | |  HBP sold early in Indianapolis
It was previously reported that copies of HBP had been sold early in Canada and New York. Now two men from Indianapolis claim to have bought copies from a local store. Quote:
Tim Meyer, 33, and Andrew Rauscher, 25, told The Indianapolis Star they purchased the books at a downtown store on Monday. They declined to provide the store's name because they are frequent customers.
"I thought I was seeing things," said Meyer. "I asked the lady, 'Can I buy this now?' and she was like 'Yeah' and just rang it up."

Kris Moran, a spokeswoman for Scholastic Inc. said she was unaware of any security breaches in the Indianapolis area. She said embargo violations would be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
"We obviously take the security of this book very seriously and investigate any reported breaches of the on-sale date and would take any action that would be appropriate," Moran said.

Why is all that people getting the book earlier? I mien can't they wait more 1 day, 11 hours, 16 minutes, and 19 seconds? Actually no... *runs to every book shop to see if there is a HBP copy*

Sounds fake to me. They just wouldn't have the books out for people to see to say Hey can I buy that. That just doesn't happen. Plus they would KNOW if they were sold because whoever sold it would be FIRED! Just ain't happening.

Yea we dont want to know about any websites that claim to have "THE FULL STORY" That is just spoiling the enjoyment that having a new book makes. And anyway its less than 2 days to go. If you cant wait that long than your not being very patient compared to everyone else.

I saw the book vendor delivering the books to my local Kroger grocery store yesterday. I tried to get him to let me buy one early but he said it wasn't worth his job. I had several people laughing before it was over. I begged, I pleaded, but the guy just went on rearranging the books at the checkout with several boxes of HBP sitting there waiting for him to wheel them into the back until Saturday. To be that close to them and not to get one was hard.
