Previously 'secrets' that were to be revealed in ' Half-Blood Prince' where hinted at through a leaflet. Bloomsbury and Rowling's agent, Christopher Little have all responded saying this information is unofficial. You know, in a way, I'm relieved. Sure, I would love to learn more about Snape, but at this point in time, I can't think of a logical reason why JKR would tell us why Dumbledore trusts Snape before the 7th book without killing Snape off. If Snape dies, I'm going to cry. | |

I don't mind the wait. But i am glad they're trying to put rumors to rest.. rumors are bad.. besides waiting w/o knowing what will happen makes it more enjoyable when you finally read it! | |

I feel so sorry for the person who wrote the initial summary. It wouldn't take much to go from reading something as speculation to printing it as fact, without checking the sources first. I really do not believe that this was a deliberate attempt to fool us, and I suspect whoever was behind it currently has a glowing red face that they're trying to hide under a blanket somewhere. They deserve a slap on the wrist, but nothing more.
