Post HBP plot hints in a magazine?

Asda magazine has published a review of 'Half-Blood Prince' revealing possible plot hints. It reads:

"Grab your wand, mount that broomstick and get moving - the latest Harry Potter has arrived and you'd better snatch your copy before they all fly off the shelves.

Evil Lord Voldemort returns to Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry, putting pupils Harry, Ron and Hermione in grave danger.

Will they be able to use their magic skills to fight the tyrant and save themselves and their school? And will we discover the true identity of the Half-Blood Prince? Snap up JK's latest instalment to find out!"

I thought the media was barred from printing this kind of stuff. Rowling has not released any of the books to the media for reviewing. This smells like a red herring and as the old saying goes: Take it with a grain of salt.

^I agree. Jo said she would not release any copys to the media for reviewing. They would have to wait for it to come out just like everyone else. I think they are just making it up. It sounds to much like CoS to me. But Jo did say that big clues for HBP could be found in CoS. I still think it's faulse.

So did I. I can't help think that there's no fire without smoke. And Asda are reputable, compared to many other resources. They must have got this idea from somewhere.

LOL I thought it was hilarious because it sounds obvious. Of course Voldemort returns, and of course the trio are in danger, especially Harry. The only thing that's different is that it says Voldemort returns to Hogwarts, which I think is just a misprint any ways. Probably someone who doesn't read the book but knows Voldemort is around and that Hogwarts is essential.

I agree..... She wouldn't let the facts get out. And if this was true we would have already have known, JKR would have put it on her site.

Hmm.. I don't know what to really think about that, lol. I'm just going to wait for the book to come out. It's only about two more weeks. Although that is still far away, it's not that far away. Thanks for the info

yeah, honestly, usually the writer of these articles for magazines and newspapers havent actually read the books and so they dont realize that there are OTHER wizarding places besides than Hogwarts. gosh, dumb writers.

I don't think they meant it as meaning he comes to Hogwarts... my first impression was just "Oh, Voldy's back". To me, it didn't mean he actually comes back to Hogwarts... but who knows, it's probably a guess if they meant it literally.

Nah, it's the media being a bunch of idiots.... That could be the summary to any of the books..... They assume that You-Know-Who coming back or doing anything anywhere is "Coming back to Hogwarts" because they dont bother to distinguish between the wizarding world and Hogwarts.... they just say Hogwarts as a setting, so I think it's just an add or a promotional thing.

ya this reminds me of the time the librarian said she got a summary of the book.. i wont believe it until JKR confirms, although it doesnt seem to far fetched bu tstill i dont believe it
-I am a little dissapointed that we havent got any news about the HBP plot line from JKR herself.. like last time she gave us the opening chapter first sentence and different things. really quiet

>second thought< Besides it's like a movie the closer you get to the opening you hear a little more about it, the book comes out in less than 2 weeks they want to hype you up a little to sell alot
