A new article from the Courier News details some statistics and quotes in relation to ' Half-Blood Prince'. While much of this is old news, there are some new tidbits.
"We have worked very closely with all of our accounts to anticipate the level of demand for 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,'" Scholastic Children's Books president Barbara Marcus said in a statement.
"Once again, we are hearing from our accounts that the pre-orders are phenomenal."
Notably, Barbara Marcus is scheduled to leave Scholastic after the publication of the sixth Potter novel.

it's getting closer! the only thing that mars the entire occasion for me is my graduation four days before - which is going to be horrible and sad and....*sniffle* but...ahem...hopefully the thought of HBP will keep me going and take my mind off the end of an era!
