| | | HBP is 'phenomenal'
A new article from the Courier News details some statistics and quotes in relation to ' Half-Blood Prince'. While much of this is old news, there are some new tidbits.
"We have worked very closely with all of our accounts to anticipate the level of demand for 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,'" Scholastic Children's Books president Barbara Marcus said in a statement.
"Once again, we are hearing from our accounts that the pre-orders are phenomenal."
Notably, Barbara Marcus is scheduled to leave Scholastic after the publication of the sixth Potter novel.

| Just another reminder of how huge the month of July is going to be. I can't wait. Every Potter fan around the world is going to be buying it and every Potter fan is going to pre-buy it. I'm sure most of us here have done it and I know many more have. July 16th is going to be a day to remember. Except those of us like me who have to wait a couple more days to get it because Amazon won't send it to you until a few days after or just because it's sold out.

| Of course it is phenomenal! I pre-ordered it the first day Amazon allowed. I can't wait to read it. I will finish it the day I get it.

Phenomenal, really who woulda thunk it, Uhm let me see, how many HP fans are there Well I know there are more then I can count on my fingers and toes.
Well duh it's going to be phenomenal what did they expect? Potter fans seem to be growing exponentially so there is going to be a very high demand. But that is very cool Yes I really can't wait until July 16th it seems so far away three and a quarter months we can do it guys.

| Ultimate Potterite Original original We're all going insane...er, more insane than we were.. for Half-Blood Prince and they're finally figuring this out! lol!
My mom pre-ordered the HBP US Deluxe Edition for me as a present (*cough*morebecauseIwasbeggingher*cough*).. And I'm going to a midnight party to get the book! When I get it, I already have everything planned out:
1) Read in car on way home
2) Get home, bolt my door shut
3) Read until I can't read anymore (which will probably be until it's finished because you can't get tired of HP!)
4) Await the arrival of Deluxe Edition.
5) Read it
6) Wait for my cousins to come the very same day
7) Laugh about how I read HBP 2 times in less than 24 hours.
lol, okay... I know I have to get some sleep in there somewhere.. (or do I?)
Can't wait! |
