This is part four in a six-part series. If you haven't read the others yet, you should do so before reading this.
Read part one, which covers chapters 1-5,
here.
Please note that as these are the final chapters, thus there are more spoilers than previous entries. But we are careful not to reveal it all. Chapter 26
THE CAVE
Harry assists Dumbledore in retrieving one of Voldemort's Horcruxes from a cave. The process is extremely draining for Dumbledore, and weakens him emensely. The cover art for the UK Childrens Edition depicts this scene.
Chapter 27
THE LIGHTNING-STRUCK TOWER
When Dumbledore and Harry return from the cave, they spot a Dark Mark in the sky above one of Hogwarts' towers. Though not entirely accurate, art from the
US back cover depicts this scene.
After arriving on the top of the tower, Dumbledore sends Harry to get aid from Snape whom Dumbledore insists is the only Professor who can help revive him from injuries sustained at the cave. Harry puts on his invisibility cloak and turns to leave, but before Harry is able, Draco Malfoy comes out to them on the roof, and Dumbledore immobilizes Harry to protect him from harm.
Invisible and unable to move, Harry witnesses a revealing conversation between Dumbledore and Malfoy. A pack of Death-Eaters arrive on the scene, followed by an Order-member with several students and professors battling other Death-Eaters just inside.
This is where a major character dies. Who it is and by whom they are murdered, is a horrible shock!
