| | |  HBP audiobook shatters records
Listening Library announced yesterday that the audiobook ' Half-Blood Prince' will go on sale on Saturday, July 16, in the US, with a record first printing of 635,000 copies.
Jim Dale, the narrarator of the first five HP audiobooks, will voice ' Half-Blood Prince' as well, providing the voices for 117 characters in the book.
The unabridged audiobook is 19 hours long.

19 hours does seem long! does anybody know how long the previous books were so we can COMPARE! i love that there are 117 characters, we must be seeing a good handful of new characters...*so excited*

maybe instead of the book being longer by pages, the text is just a little smaller so get more per page

The book is actually shorter - 608 UK, 672 US. And the text being smaller would make the book smaller; big letters would make it longer that's why the large-print edition is longer in page length.

The longer the better! Plus..you can ignore people and say you're reading a book. Very nice. 117 characters are just *bam* out there. And to have one guy doing them all! Wow, not in a million years...
