The Daily Mirror are today reporting that Helen McCrory has 'been lined up to play evil Bellatrix Lestrange in the next Harry Potter film.' Quote:
A source revealed: "The producers are trying to keep the cast a secret until it's all sealed. But they are really keen on Helen.
"They think she has the gravitas and looks to pull off the part of Bellatrix."

Hmm. Which actually is all I can come up with because if it is true, I'd have to really see her as Bellatrix before making a decision.

Yeah, well.I dont know. I mean, not the way I had imagined Bellatrix. But if she's got it, maybe then so. I have never seen her act, but if she's THAT good, then so be it. But we know that it may not be official.

Bella joined the DE's when the Marauders were at school. She's meant to be older than Snape, Lupin, Sirius and James. Who, incidentally, are all played by actors between their 40's and 60's. And this woman is 35. Can't see it working although she definitely looks like she could be Bella. Quote:

Helen is a nice choice but I read a news in a magzine in March that Elizbeth Hurley is going to play the roll of Bellatrix in the next movie.

Oh, I think she would make a good Bellatrix Lestange. Well from looks she could anyway. I have never seen her act so I don't know how she is in the aspect, but she can definitely do it look wise.

Hmm....she seems ok, though I'd have to see her acting first. I can't really remember her from The Count of Monte Cristo, and I haven't seen the other films she took part in.
