The Daily Mirror are today reporting that Helen McCrory has 'been lined up to play evil Bellatrix Lestrange in the next Harry Potter film.' Quote:
A source revealed: "The producers are trying to keep the cast a secret until it's all sealed. But they are really keen on Helen.
"They think she has the gravitas and looks to pull off the part of Bellatrix."

Yeah, well.I dont know. I mean, not the way I had imagined Bellatrix. But if she's got it, maybe then so. I have never seen her act, but if she's THAT good, then so be it. But we know that it may not be official.

Bella joined the DE's when the Marauders were at school. She's meant to be older than Snape, Lupin, Sirius and James. Who, incidentally, are all played by actors between their 40's and 60's. And this woman is 35. Can't see it working although she definitely looks like she could be Bella. Quote: |

I expected Bella to have very deepset, hallow-looking eyes since she's been in Azkaban.
That's just me, though.
I suppose Helen McCrory isn't too bad, though. I'd have too see her act, which I haven't, to really judge her.
