| | | Hary Potter drops out of Your Charts CBBC Newsround has announced the latest 'Your Chart' results and it's not good news for Harry Potter. Quote:
Harry Potter has ruled the fave thing chart for months. Nothing seemed to be strong enough to topple the magic of HP! But now that's all changed...
With Christmas only a week away you're all feeling full of festive cheer and there's a shock result! Crimbo has managed to knock Harry Potter off the top spot.
Crimbo is, unfortunately, British slang for Christmas. Quote:
There might be trouble ahead for Harry in the film chart too. This week Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events has been voted into the chart.
It's set to be a massive Christmas hit and could rival Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for the top spot in your film chart.

Ack! Oh no! Well, good for Christmas, I mean, but still... Aw, I'm sure it's only temporary... I hope!

the evil brutes! not the fact that hp is going down, but that they're saying Lemony Snicket might rival harry potter! yes, deep down i realize it's very possible, and i should just be happy it's topped the charts for so long....i suppose it is getting old for the...let's say, not-very-addictive-fans, but A Series of Unfortunate Events wasn't that good. ok, it was. but i found the books excruciatingly boring.

Well, once Christmas passes, then HP will probably make it back up. With people getting HP presents and all.

I think that HP will come back, especially when the book is released and the movie is about to come out. Just look at how many people have pre-ordered the books!

Oh of course Harry Potter will be on top again! Although A Series of Unfortunate Events was really good. . . Wouldn't it be nice if ASOUE and HP joined forces?! | |

I haven't the intention of reading Snicket's books...yet. However, I am interested in watching the movie. To me, LotR is rival to HP, but it's dropped out(no longer in the running), so...if you say Snicket's movies is to rival HP, then I'm on it (even though I want to watch it).

Right now, all I can do is cry. *Cries* I saw Lemony Snicket's movie and it was nothing even close to any of the Harry Potter movies. All of the Harry Potter movies are much better. That is a fact. The next Harry Potter movie will blow the tops off the charts it will go so high, yeah.... that is right. If the movie is as good as the book it will.

I’m sure it will make it back; LS movie didn’t do nearly the business that they had expected it to. HP just has the bigger fan base; it will be back on top soon.
