| | |  Harry Potter: Years 1-5 Limited Edition Gift Set wins packaging award
Home Media magazine reports that the Harry Potter: Years 1-5 Limited Edition Gift Set won an award for Shorewood Packaging at the 65th Annual National Paperboard Packaging Competition. Quote:
“We were very excited when we learned that both of these special packages for Warner Bros. earned the acclaim of the packaging industry,” said Karen Mika, SVP of Shorewood’s home entertainment business. “Both projects speak volumes for our design capabilities and ability to collaborate with our customers.”
The Harry Potter: Years 1-5 set featured a round-cornered trunk and custom-made antiqued hinges and hardware fasteners made to match those seen on the trunk from the films. | |

yup packaging is pretty important. its what will attract your customer to the product which will eventually lead to them buying it.
i agree, the HP 1-5 package looked really, really good,
but i'm holding out for the mother of all DVD box sets, once the DH DVDs get released. same way i *so patiently* held out for the HP novels' hardcover boxset. that was one heavy trunk!  | |
