lol didn't really catch the similarites, before, either. In Great Expectations, I could see the escaped prisoner who becomes a parent type person to Pip being a lot like Sirius, but Arthur. .. Hey, Mr. Weasley's name is Arthur. .. teehee

that is quite funny but as we all know J.k although she is an amazing writer she has used ideas from other sources. For example The Hippogriff is actually a mythical creature and thats where she got the idea from. The Character of gilderoy lockheart is a real person!!!! The names for spells are taken from latin names along with character names aswell!!!
