Residents who leave near the Harry Potter printers in Bungay have
started a petition due to the noise coming from the place, which environmental health officers say is a "statutory nuisance". It was said that the interference with peace and quiet was unreasonable, although the cause of the noise is unidentified. Acoustic engineers were hired to try and find a source, but found none.

Karen Kennedy, who has organised the petition, said the council needed to do more.
She said: "They have not employed any qualified acoustic consultants themselves. The acoustic consultant is employed by Clays. They are saying the new machinery isn't causing the noise nuisance, but it wasn't there before the new machinery."
