Harry Potter Novels are still loved in the UK

Both the BBC and the Guardian have published articles around a new poll that was set to determine what books young people love most. The poll proved that "Harry Potter" is still a well loved novel in the UK, despite the film franchise being so seemingly overbearing.

BBC

Quote:
The survey, for the Prince of Wales Arts and Kids Foundation, questioned children aged between seven and 14.

The results show that every book in the top five has been adapted for the cinema.
The Guardian

Quote:
The poll, published by the Prince of Wales Arts and Kids Foundation on the eve of the national release of the latest Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, reveals that the schoolboy wizard is the most popular read of those children naming a favourite book, with just over half placing it in their top three.

I agree! The books are just inspiring, enough to make me actually want to write myself and thats saying something!

JK Rowling is an inspiration and the films are great but they could never compare.
