Clues, heart break, mourning and more discussed in Harvard's online magazine, The Harvard Independent. The article covers many things from whether or not an HP book is instantly the best book ever written to theories and clues. Quote:
On the one hand, it’s fitting that Rowling is ending the juggernaut with book seven. I certainly respect her for making the tough choice to stick to the plan, and not pander to the desires of fans praying for spin-offs. Plus, you’ll notice — or, well, I will — that seven is described in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as the most powerfully magical number. (Seems to have worked, so far as book sales are concerned.)
On the other hand, it seems more painful now that it’s finished. The lovely and talented Rowling, now forty-one and richer than the Queen, has set the release date of Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows for July 21, and millions of children age 9-12 — and other, non-recommended readers, including myself — will
read it nonstop until we know how it all ends.

yeah i read about this earlier today, and yes HP certainly is the best book ever! it was really interesting  but i really wish that it wouldnt end   ...even if 7 is the most powerful number!but i mean it cant go on forever, can it?!

it's so bittersweet that the 7th book is comming out this july. i mean i'm excited to read it but it stinks that it's the end of Harry Potter. i wish she would write a squel or something, i'm gonna miss it so much!!!

It's so awesome that even Harvard is creating articles about HP!! It going to be so sad to see it all end-but it'll live on in the hearts of the fans forever!

Harvard is one of my favorite Universitys. 7 is my lucky number too, but I'm sad that 7 is the end.

omg omg omg I know whats gonna happen!!!!!!!!!! hehehe well not with the book but with me lol I am gonna line up for hours in the freezing cold wee hours in the morning here in Oz to get my long awaited copy of Deathly Hallows and I will prob stand in the middle of the bookshop holding it, crying and too scared to start reading it, or maybe I am just an obsessed sad person lol but hey I luv it
But the article is right, it is fitting Jo is finishing it with seven I dont think we would appreciate it so much if the books kept coming

It is sad that its ending but I'm glad. Finally we can end our journey with Harry.  The books were awesome and I'm just glad that I was lucky enough to be opened minded about them all and really enjoy them.
Now when I have my own children it will be exciting to see them take the same journey that I took years before them. I'll get to experience it all over again through new eyes. <3 | |
