SnitchSeeker.com - Harry Potter mobile game may be releasing exclusively for Samsung devices in 2019

A new report is out that a possible Harry Potter mobile game might release sometime in 2019, but exclusively to Samsung devices, as part of a larger deal between gaming giant Niantic and the tech brand.

The firms' main focus, however, will be an exclusive Harry Potter game, according to the source, which will utilise Samsung's S-Pen stylus as a makeshift magic wand. However, it's currently unclear whether this will arrive as a reworked version of Niantic's incoming Harry Potter: Wizards Unite title, which is set to be released in 2019, or as an all-new game designed for Galaxy handsets.

Admittedly, when Warner Bros. Games and Niantic revealed the first teaser trailer for the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite augmented reality (AR) mobile game, they never specified which formats it would be available in, and it was assumed the game would be for both Android and iOS. This has not been confirmed.

Do note that the Samsung exclusive has not been confirmed by Niantic, Samsung, or Warner Bros. Games, so this can currently be taken with a grain of salt.
