Tesco.com, a website for a supermarket held a survey to see what were the favourite books of adult male and female shoppers. Harry Potter came in the top ten for both. Article: Harry Potter a favourite for men and women
A recent survey held by Tesco.com has shown that adult male and female shoppers have voted Harry into their top ten favourite book list. Tesco is a huge supermarket franchise in the UK and in all, 4,000 men and women voted. Quote: Women's top 10 favorite books were:*

| I'm surprised that its the Philosophers stone actually, I would be more inclined to vote for Prisoner of Azkaban or Goblet of Fire.... Maybe they had to choose from a list and it was limited? :unsure: I'm not saying its a bad book of course, I love all the Harry Potter books, but considering this vote is coming from adults, I thought that maybe the last three were more darker and adult orientated. |

| i used to work for tesco (Evil company) and when they did surveys like this they used to have a list to choose from. i am suprosed that the put P/S and not POA or GOF or even OOTP on the list but it just shows that HArry potter isnt just for wee kiddies. |
