Two rather humorous articles have appeared today; one detailing some of the sexual innuendos in ' Half-Blood Prince'. Quote:
"These passages should be read with their context in mind. Yes, when they are read in isolation, they sound like sexual innuendoes."

And another detailing how Harry Potter promotes cruelty to animals. Quote:

I am sure that J.K. had any intent for this book to be bad or any of her books. People just look for things to say and start problems. The Harry Potter series is the most read book series in the world prob, I dont think kids really care that ooo that rat become a tea-cup.

There are innuendos. There were ones in OotP. But some of them are ridiculous and in context don't sound bad at all.

Porn in Potter VI!!! LoL!! wow, they MUST have been looking for something that sounds dirty to actually give meaning to those. i didnt even notice them, let alone give another meaning. now that they pointed it out and isolated the quotes, then i kind of see it. still, it's hilarious!
and the animal things, im like that too. i used to say "aw, that's so mean" then laugh. i mean, Ron (poorly) turned Scabbers into a water goblet, but i dont think he was hurt. i dont think the animals are hurt when they tranfigure. besides, there's always mcgonagall (or Hermione) to turn them back. and the other ones for the potion making, coooome ooon... it's like saying we shouldn't kill chickens, or cows, or pigs to use for cooking anymore.
