| | |  Harry Potter chair fetches £20,000 at auction
A week ago we told you about a chair, which J.K. Rowling sat on to write the first two Harry Potter books, which was to be re-auctioned to benefit Books Abroad, a charity which sends free school books to impoverished countries. The Scotsman reports that the chair made £20,000 at auction. The item was previously sold for £15,000 to benefit the NSPCC in 2002. 20% of the money raised will go to charity. | |
