There are many possible titles circulating the Internet at the moment. Please note, there is hardly ANY chance of these titles turning out to be the titles of future books. If you know of any other possible book 6 titles, e-mail Jamie.
Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch
Apparently there is a a torch that emits green flames that destroys anything of an evil nature and restores all good natured things. If something like this exists, Harry and/or the others would want to search for it to destory Voldemort. I can't help noticing how similar this is to the legend of the holy grail, where King Arthur and his knights went on a quest to find the Holy Grail. The description JKR gave of the goblet in GoF was remarkably similar to the holy grail. This may be a clue to the title of a future book, but up to the end of OotP, I can see no extra clues to suggest this title will be the title of Book 6.

Harry Potter and the Alchemist's Cell / Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat / Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light
These three titles were patented by WB back in April 2000, just before the release of GoF. Either they are future book titles, are future movie titles, or were patented to throw us off the scent. I believe WB did confirm they would not be future book titles in a press conference a while back, but I thought I would post them as they may hold clues.

Harry Potter and the Forest/Fortess of Shadows
The only reference I can see here is to the Forbidden Forest, and although it holds many clues for future books, I do not think a future book will be based entirely round it. It may be that another "forest of shadows" will arise soon though. As to the fortress idea, I honestly can see no link to anything in the first five books. A lot of people think the Fortress of Shadows is Azkaban prison.

Harry Potter and the Mudblood Revolt / Harry Potter and the Quest of the Centaur
Along with the three titles listed above, these titles were copyrighted by a company who were copyrighting them on behalf of WB. They don't really sound like future book titles, but its possible they may be a sub title or similar.

I like 'Harry Potter and the Mudblood Revolt' the best... It sounds more interesting.

The Green Flame Torch theory of yours is very interesting, but if it were a theory then Dumbledore would surely know about it and so would Voldie more than likely and surely Voldie would have wanted to go for that instead of the Prophecy as the torch would be more damaging.

But I like the theory. :flowersmile:

you know i don't like the titles and some of them don't sound JKish at all...... i mean why would she put "mudblood" revolt knowing it's a bad word in the wizerding world

i like the 'Harry Potter and the Alchemist's Cell' title. also the 'fortres of shadows' sounds cool, and i like the idea that it's about askaban.

EWWWW!! All of those are very unlikely save the first.
**Warning, possible spoiler ahead**

I, sadly, think that it's true the first one 'cause the -stupid- drawer of the covers of the Spanish Edition of HP said she had some ideas of possible covers and post them in harrymania.com; they both wore the same Legend: the Green Flame Torch.
But get real! 'Destroy the evil & save the good´? Who could tell! There might be a Torch but it would be naive to expect a single object to do that: it sounds more like a myth to me.

PS MOst of them sound like a copy of LotR

Though the Green Flame Torch one sounds the most convincing, something tells me the next title is going to be totally different and J.K.'s gonna have lots of surprises in store for us! :sorcerer:
