| | |  Harry Potter Blu-Ray 'Book' Collector's Edition DVDs to release soon
Warner Brothers has recently announced their new plans to sell special collector's editions of the Harry Potter DVDs in the Blu-ray format which will come in 'book-like' packaging. High Def Digest reports: Quote:
Warner Brothers will be re-issue some previously-released Blu-rays in 'book' editions including selections from the 'Harry Potter' series (dates TBA).

the 'book' houses the Blu-ray disc, and opens up to a full-color booklet with additional photographs, production notes, and vintage press kit excerpts
We are still unsure of whether or not all of the previous Harry Potter films will be re-released and to what extent this special packaging will include, if there are any new special features and such. We'll let you know as soon as we can.

Seriously though, I'd first need to buy a Blu-ray player; and they're still a tad expensive. Plus the discs themselves. I dunno... I don't think I can stand the CGI bricks in Philosopher's Stone without a huge amount of new and awesome bonus features. Tempting, tempting.
