[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/dobby_snap_80.jpg' align='middle'> Harry Potter and the London Symphony Orchestra - Celebrating Century with Harry Potter Summary:
From September the London Symphony Orchestra will be on tour in the US and performing in 15 cities, they will feature amongst other works some of the soundtracks from the Harry Potter films as part of "The Music of Hollywood" tour. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will benefit from a portion of each ticket that is sold during the tour. Article: Do you love movies?
Get ready for the performance of your life…
The London Symphony Orchestra is celebrating it's 100th anniversary. For those who may not be sure as to who the London Symphony Orchestra are, they are a company of musicians who have recorded numerous soundtracks for films. Some titles apart from the Harry Potter series included that of Star Wars and the Indiana Jones Trilogy. A 100-Year Celebration
Since the early days of film, music has been an integral part of our love of the movies. The relationship between film and music has resulted in some of the most moving pieces of Hollywood art -- films that continue to inspire us and stir our emotions.
United Kingdom's London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) has recorded music scores for many of the world’s most memorable films. Starting in September of 2004 the LSO will perform 'The Music of Hollywood', a 15-city North-American tour celebrating the powerful 100-year relationship between music and the movies. A Historic Event
Conducted by the legendary maestro Dirk Brossé, this premier event will present selections from some of the London Symphony Orchestra’s most beloved films scores including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Braveheart, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and many more. A Grand Spectacle
Enhancing and underscoring each performance will be a stunning array of multimedia effects, including excerpts from the films, a laser light show and dramatic aerial recreations.
With shows in Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, San Antonio, St. Louis and Toronto, The Music of Hollywood tour will form the basis of a nationally televised PBS special, expected to air in 2005. I hope I can get tickets, it sounds really cool. The closest one to me would be Atlanta, Georgia but I don't think my mom would drive me down there.

I really don't want to miss this.
If my parents decides continue sending me to school in Canada, I can go to one in Toronto. And if I have to be stuck in Albany, my parents will have a lovely time going to Toronto. Yup 10 hours of driving. Lovely...
Mann, just when you think things are gonna get better, they don't.
BTW, thanks Star and DacosAngel

Grrrr, i wish i could see that i love the soundtracks (got the first 2)...and i love the LSO, i got Cd's from them playin' Chopin and Bach and other stuff.
But im in Mexico . So unfair, John Williams came to Mexico to conduct the local Orchestra and they played some Harry Potter soundtrack music. I didn't saw that either. :/
Cool news!!!Thanks.

The CBBC did a similar sort of thing with the London Orchestra in May. They toured around the UK and had interactive play with the instruments. I think they played here (New Theatre - Cardiff in Wales) on May 21st and despite it being cheap, I did not go because of exams.
Have fun everyone who does go!
