Post 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' book European midnight release parties underway
The day has indeed come, and fans are queuing across bookstores in Europe for the midnight parties and release of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book - the eighth installment of the Harry Potter saga.

British and Portuguese fans, decked head to tie as their favorite Harry Potter characters, were spotted lined up outside shops just minutes away from the release of the books in Europe. A few photo highlights can be seen here.

The U.S. and Canada will see midnight parties starting as early as 8pm EST at major retailers like Barnes & Noble. SnitchSeeker will be heading to one in Los Angeles live at 8pm PST (11pm EST/4pm GMT) to bring the latest from this once-again historic celebration of J.K. Rowling's book series.
