As we told you back in August, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was nominated for a few 2009 Scream Awards from Spike TV. The film won in two categories: Best Ensemble and Holy (Crap) Scene of the Year (for the Death Eater sequence involving the Millenium Bridge). Winners were selected based on online votes from the public. | |

Yay HP!!!!!!!
I'm glad they won the holy crap award the VFX on that scene were amazing!!
I agree with everyone else. Twilight gets too much support. the movie sucked and I feel ashamed that I even wasted my money to go see it. I won't be seeing any of the other films.
Has anyone noticed how annoyed the HP actors are getting when interviewers ask about how they feel about Rob Patt. and Twilight? Its like people want HP actors to feel a rivalry with Twilight. and lets face it, Twilight couldn't begin to size up to the HP franchise. HP is just so much better and they've had a bigger impact on people unlike twilight who just makes girls scream over Rob. the 1st book sucked so bad that i didn't even bother waisting my time reading the others, i was forced into reading the 1st one anyway

twlight....really....beat harrry potter? for FANTASY movie? come on that came out wat last year and harry potter just came out couple of months ago...oh well deathly hollows well show the twilight movies....CONGRATS HARRY POTTER

Congrats HP for winning the 2 awards! HP deserves to win all the awards it was nominated for. I can't believe that Twilight won the best fantasy award! It's not even that much of a fantasy. Just add in the vampires part and there you go - suddenly it's a fantasy. I still can't believe that it beat HP in some of the categories when HP is way better. I agree with the Robert thing. I think that Twilight won mainly because of girls crushing over Robert. And this is coming from a girl. At least HP was nominated because of the acting and not the actors' good looks. I'm not trying to be mean but i don't get what the big deal is about Twilight. Stephanie Meyer is a good author but she doesn't even come close to Jo. I just hope that HP wins next year because DH will be far better than New Moon. Congrats HP!!! You guys deserve to win!!!

All I know is I am SICK of the sudden proliferation on American TV of vampire shows, and I blame Twilight for it all! If I want to watch REAL vampire films, I'll watch Salem's Lot, The Lost Boys, the Frank Langella version of Dracula, the Christopher Lee version of Dracula, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, Fright Night, or Bram Stoker's Dracula. The Cullens are wusses compared to these guys. AND Sanguini would probably make them wee their pants! So NYAH!
