| | |  'Half-Blood Prince' a US 2005 best-seller
Reuters has announced that US fans bought more copies of ' Half-Blood Prince' on its first day of release than any other book sold in the country in the whole of 2005.
"According to industry sales tracker Nielsen BookScan, J.K. Rowling's latest book on the boy wizard, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," sold 4.1 million copies in the United States on day one and 7.02 million copies for the full year."

pretty cool. i'm not surprised though. it was the most anticipated book of the year so it's no wonder it's the best seller of the year. im pretty sure the 7th book is going to be the best seller when it comes out also. | |

Oh, awesome! Two of my favourite books are on there! HBP and The Da Vinci Code. I'm surprised that the 12th book of ASOUE wasn't on the top 10. It was actually one of the better ones out of the series! | |
