The original motion picture soundtrack for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, orchestrated by Nicholas Hooper, has been nominated for best movie score for the 2010 Grammy Awards.  Quote:

wow...that's really cool...so many news items coming up today for HBP...and i really loved the new music of HP.they do great with music everytime.they add a new tune or something yet there is this famous actual HP tune going around too somewhere...i love it...i hope they win the Grammy Award...yay!

this is by far my favorite soundtrack of the whole series, I've got all 6 of them so far and HBP is without any doubt the most stunning, emotional, heart-breaking soundtrack.
Especially Dumbledore's Farewell, everytime I hear that song, I'm sold, literally. That song fits perfectly with the scene in the film and with the emotional feelings of the characters after the loss of their beloved boss
