| | |  Half-Blood Prince set visit report
Make-a-Wish Foundation granted a trip to London for a young girl (Emily) and her father, which included a visit to the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. They met the main cast, visited several sets and Emily took home a wand and a set of official Gryffindor robes, among other items. Quote:
… we went to the Astronomy Tower set and got to meet Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermione) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny). It was truly magical and Emily was speechless (yes, I know that’s hard to believe). Everyone was very friendly and Daniel was especially personable and funny. We came back later to watch them film a scene and get photos taken.
Unfortunately photos from the set are not yet available due to tight security. Quote:
Before entering, we handed over our camera and signed a secrecy agreement. Warner Brothers wants to make sure nothing leaks out about the movie or movie magic, so there are some secrets that we can’t reveal until after the movie comes out in November. Sorry, but we do not want to end up in Azkaban!

What a lucky girl to have gotten to meet the cast and visit the set. Although I'm sure the circumstances under which she was granted this wish aren't very lucky ones. So I am very happy for her that her wish has come true! | |
