| | |  Half-Blood Prince set 'battered' by storms, Dan Radcliffe films stunt
The Sun are reporting that crew working on Half-Blood Prince have claimed that the film set is cursed, due to storms, streakers and other mishaps. While it isn't true that there have been death threats, Britain has recently been 'battered' by gale force winds and on location filming was affected by streakers recently in a forest. They add; Quote:
DANIEL bravely performed a daring stunt scene when his double failed to turn up. He was yanked from a burning building by a wire attached to a 100 ft. crane.

That really is awful, I know how bad the storms have been, half of them hitting yorkshire.
I do find it quite funny that they think the Harry Potter set was cursed

The winds here were awful. People were almost getting blown into roads. And considering Leavesden studios is an old aircraft hangar, with multiple outdoor sets...you can only imagine what impact that may have had.

i was wondering if Dan's stunt sequence is even true, why would a double do a stunt? shouldnt a qualified stuntman-- made up to look like Harry-- be doing the stunts? thats the standard industry practice.
also, didnt the Sun report the ridiculous news that Dan wanted to have the SAS guards look after his dogs too?

A building on fire? O.o For some reason I can't remember any scene in HBP with fire but then again my memory has always been horrible... Guess I'll have to re-read the book again

But what scene is in HBP that requires Harry to be pulled out of a burning building? Good for Dan for taking up the challenge, but I don't remember anything like that from the book...

And which scene are we talking about here, again? The only thing I remember with fire in it in HBP, at the moment, is equal to the part where Harry and Dumbledore drive the Inferi away... But that doesn't sound very much the equivalent of a burning building, right? O__o
