And whoever wrote The Hollywood Reporter review can't spell Muggle or Hermione!

The two I read were very complimentary and I think this should be the best of them so far.

So cool!!! Reading all the reviews just get me even more excited to see this movie!!! I can't wait!! I'm not a big fan of the Shiznit and HOllywood reporter reviews though. The critics clearly don't know anything about the story at all, which is unacceptable if you're going to write a competent review for a movie.

I'm so jealous Snitchseeker has already seen it! No fair!

i love reading reviews! gives a little bit of an insight of what to expect, besides what we see in the previews!!!

Haha the Guardians review sounds more like a very short synopsis of the story to me rather than an actual judgement of the film. I rarely listen to what the critics say. Its one persons opinion and rarely are they in tune with the whole HP fandom, or the appeal for most films really. There is only one way to find out if HBP is worth the long wait and I can tell you I have my tickets for the opening day

Hmm... The Grauniad gives it 3/5? All is well.

I liked the ones I read Well, except the one from the Holywood Reporter and The Shiznit, which were obviously written by people who know nothing of the plot

I believe that refers to some of the NEWS Staff. =)



Anyway, I'm like SUPER excited for this movie mostly because I saw the length of the movie on Saturday. 2 hours and 45 minutes!!! Longest movie since Chamber of Secrets, AND HBP was a longer book, so that 2 hours and 45 minutes should be worthwhile. Hopefully

That the shiznit report was AWEFUL! He was completely biased, I was going to join just to go mental at him in a comment, but why should I do that? ...

grr.... people who judge The Series like this AND say that they've never read the books or seen the films, its discusting! Atleast I've read some of Twilight, and even then, I don't completely slate it, and If I choose to, then I keep them to myself (at least I will until I've decided to read the whole series)

The reviews were very mixed, but I can't say that I blame them. I didn't think that the past two films were good at all. Maybe it's just because I am bias after seeing the third film, which I thought was spectacular! I can understand that now that the books are longer, that they are harder to portray on the big screen, but the past two were very jumpy, awkward, and confusing.

After seeing the many clips and trailers for the new installment, I have my hopes up. The score, from what I have heard, is beautiful, and can really make or break a scene, and the humor doesn't seem as awkward as the past Harry Potter films.

Haha just being a a huge Harry Potter fan, like all of you ^.^, I really just want them to capture the emotions and ideas that made us love the story so much. I just personally feel that the 3rd was the best in doing so, and the last two have been good, but a disappointment.

A few mixed isnt bad, I dont think we had a full on negative one yet tho, but it will come in time im sure nice to see most are positive imo ( I also heard from quite a few other ppl that have seen it at screenings within the past week that didnt give any REAL reviews, but liked it alot which gets my hopes up ), even tho there are little things that ppl dont like.

And don't forget about Rotten Tomatoes!

in the shiznit review the reporter didnt even read the books! so they hardly knew anything

I really hope that the Shiznit critic didn't get paid, it's clear that s/he set out to hate the film.

I feel really depressed now, that Shiznit one was so horrible!

I liked the Sun one, that was quite funny.

I can't read all of them just now.

Some of these reviewers cannot review, they give summaries and complain the whole time. Geesh!

Not sure I want to read them. Don't want to feel excesively angry about the negative ones, or seriously sceptic about the very good ones.
