Following the announcement of the title of the sixth Harry Potter book, someone has tried to guess the release date for its film counterpart. Article: Half-Blood Prince film appears on IMDB.com
The Internet Movie Database now has a listing for the sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It has the release for 2008, but this is probably an estimate on their part. This is mainly because the sixth book hasn't even got a release date yet, so it can't possibly have a film one. The later the book release date is, the later the film counterpart will be. I'd also like to add that IMDB.com aren't very reliable at all when it comes to casting in the Harry Potter films either, so if any other "rumors" arise on their site, it's best to ignore them until official annoncements are made via more reliable sources ie; TLC, BBC or WB.

Yeah I agree. I can't believe that they are actually guessing! What's the point when JK hasn't said when the book will be out AND they have only started filming GoF. I mean how long is OotP going to take to film. I'm content with waiting for the book and GoF film and discussing who the HBP could be.

It's really strange that they are guessing. Usuallly sites don't say anything unless they are sure. It might be an educated guess, because the movies are coming out at 1 and 1/2 year intervals....it's to early to see if they are right...
but 2008!! I'll be in my first year of college then!! Wow!

that sounds about right to me but i figured that i would probably be bringing my kids to the seventh movie,there gonna start to take longer to make, if there done right anyways :/
